Welcome

Welcome to Made in the U.S.A.! Our aim is to encourage consumers to be conscientious about where they spend their shopping dollars and where those dollars end up. Look for the label that says “Made in America,” “Made in the USA,” “American Made.”

Since we are all consumers who buy goods and services, we can all play a small part, one product at a time, in turning Corporate America back to the labor force in its own back yard: putting Americans back to work.

Putting Americans back to work puts that paycheck back in our hands, enabling Americans to become consumers of American-made goods.

There are many blogs and sites committed to naming things that are Made in America – we are hoping with this blog to make one more bit of difference.  Researching companies, contacting through email, telephone, asking the Golden Question: “Are your products manufactured in America?” is what we do.

As we grow this blog, we expect to see a diversity of products named as Made in America and also a surprisingly number of products that began in our Nation’s infancy who are now employing workers off our shores. There are American mainstays that the global consumer markets see as American icons that no longer employ the American worker. (Levis and Crayola crayons come to mind right off.)

See our Facebook page for Notes and a small, but growing collection of companies who proudly employ the American worker.
